More Woes for Reapers Jose Lazaro Tuesday, July 23rd , 2024 The Carolina Reapers will have to do without third baseman Jose Lazaro even longer than expected. Team doctors say that Lazaro's recovery from a sore back has not gone well and more time will be needed to treat it successfully. The Reapers trainer indicated it would be at least one week before they would consider activating Lazaro. Lazaro has a .302 average and a .389 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 57 hits, 7 home runs and driven in 31 runs. |
