NC Player of the Week Named Monday, July 22nd , 2024 It was an extraordinary week for Nelson Ziersch of the Charleston Sea Dogs. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .667, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the National Conference. Last week Ziersch went 8-for-12, racked up 1 home run and 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Charleston left fielder. This year, Ziersch has batted at a .343 pace with 96 hits, 5 home runs, 37 RBIs and scored 58 times. |
