Trouble in Carolina, Lazaro Suffers Setback Saturday, July 20th , 2024 Jose Lazaro, third baseman for the Carolina Reapers, was making great progress in healing a sore back according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Jose was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least one week before he will be able to rejoin the club." Lazaro is currently hitting at a .302 pace with 7 home runs and 31 RBIs. He has played in 58 games and scored 38 times. |
