Invaders Move on to World Series Friday, October 21st , 2022 The Oakland Invaders are on to the World Series, having knocked out the Hollywood Stars 4-2. The final blow came tonight at Howard Terminal, where Oakland sealed the Championship Series with a 7-2 triumph. Jonathan Cunningham was instrumental in the series win and was given MVP honors. Cunningham hit .333 with a .417 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Oakland Invaders will play against the Halifax Heathens in the next round.
