Going, Going, Gone! Cunningham Hits 3 Homers Friday, October 21st , 2022 It was a good day for the Oakland Invaders and an exceptional one for Jonathan Cunningham. The 24-year-old third baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Invaders beat the Hollywood Stars, 7-2, at Howard Terminal. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Cunningham said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 5 runs and smacked 4 hits in 4 at-bats. Jonathan Cunningham hit a solo-shot off Chris Benson in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Chris Benson in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Chong-hyeon Hyong in the 7th.
