Phoenix, San Francisco Confirm Deal Monday, July 20th , 2026 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Phoenix and San Francisco have agreed in principle to a swap that will send a 3rd round draft pick to the Fire with 25-year old minor league RF Willie Villegas joining the Gladiators. Phoenix general manager Brian Hughes would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. Batting .240 to date, Villegas has 7 home runs and 17 RBIs. |
