King Out of Action, Listed DTD Wednesday, July 15th , 2026 Scott King, Royals standout shortstop, will be sidelined for a while due to a strained oblique. He was injured while colliding with a player at a base in yesterday's game against the Giants. King called it "a day-to-day thing" and said he hoped to be back in action soon. For the season, King has produced 84 hits in 307 at-bats for a .274 average with no home runs and gotten on base at a .374 clip. |
