NC #1 Pitcher in September is Daytona Beach's Sanchez Saturday, October 1st , 2022 Daytona Beach Sea Turtles fans lauded the selection of reliever Antonio Sanchez as National Conference Pitcher of the Month for September. The 28-year-old hurler was nothing short of masterful, holding enemy hitters to a .152 average. In no relief appearances he put up a 4-1 record, no saves, 34 strikeouts and an ERA of 0.46 over 39 innings. Over the season, Sanchez has made no relief appearances with no saves. He has K'd 158 batters in 193.2 innings, yielded 46 walks and has a 3.35 ERA. Sanchez's record this year is 16-9. |
