June's Best Hurler in AC Is Baucke Monday, July 1st , 2024 The best at putting a stop to late-inning rallies in the American Conference in June was Bob Baucke of the Austin Desperados. For his stellar work out of the bullpen, he has been named Pitcher of the Month. He chalked up a 3-0 record, 11 relief appearances and 7 saves with a 0.59 ERA. Baucke pitched 15.1 innings and rang up 14 strikeouts. So far this season, Baucke has compiled a 7-1 won-lost mark with 19 saves and a 2.25 ERA. In 40 innings he has fanned 41 and opponents are hitting him at a .164 clip. |
