Daytona Beach Announces Hernandez Will Retire Sunday, June 30th , 2024 A spokesperson for the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles today confirmed that Fernando Hernandez will not be back next year. The Sea Turtles reliever has decided to retire. Hernandez has parlayed 697 games and 1259.1 innings of work into a 67-75 lifetime record with 31 saves and 1048 strikeouts. In his career he has fashioned a 3.52 ERA with 1048 strikeouts and 363 walks. |
