The Giants first baseman banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Ballpark of Detroit to lead his club past the Cleveland Brawlers. "I felt good in the batter's box," he said. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Angelo Mejia singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Andres Moran in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
