New York's Bill Geeslin Suffers Setback
Friday, June 28th , 2024
The New York Nightmare plan to take it slow with second baseman Bill Geeslin, knowing that his recovery from a strained back muscle would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "Bill has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about one week before he can be activated."

To date, Geeslin has collected 69 hits for a .348 average. He has posted 5 home runs, scored 34 runs and driven in 27 runs.
