Nightmare Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, September 22nd , 2022 Postseason baseball won't be coming to New York this year. The quest for the playoffs ended for the New York Nightmare today, as they were mathematically eliminated from contention. "Not the first time I've experienced this," said Nightmare manager Joey Bishop, "but it never gets fun." This is the club's 9th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2013. In total, the Nightmare have missed the playoffs 16 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Nightmare have only made the playoffs once. |
