Gladiators Victor Gonzalez Wins AC Award Monday, September 19th , 2022 A battle-tested Victor Gonzalez declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 33-year-old Phoenix right fielder collected the American Conference Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .458 average, 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and 9 runs scored. So far in 2022 Gonzalez is batting .235 with 23 home runs, 62 RBIs and 70 runs scored. He has 96 hits in 409 at-bats and a .363 OBP. |
