The season is finished for Beau Larson of the Detroit Giants. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Giants starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Halifax Heathens. Team doctors said it would take at least 13 months to heal.
So far this year, Larson has a 6-7 record with a 3.86 ERA.
