Red-Hot Orozco AC Player of the Week Monday, June 24th , 2024 Not every ball that came off Leo Orozco's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Halifax Heathens. For his exploits, Orozco was named this week's American Conference Player of the Week award. The Halifax shortstop put up 11 hits in 25 at-bats and 6 home runs while hitting .440 with 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This season, Orozco is hitting .308 with 21 home runs. |
