San Francisco's Bechdel to Miss 6 Months Tuesday, July 15th , 2025 San Francisco shortstop Adam Bechdel could miss the remainder of the season because of a broken bone in the elbow. He exited yesterday's Hollywood game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Bechdel would be out 6 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." This year, Bechdel is batting .292 with 96 hits, 2 home runs, 33 RBIs, 15 walks, .328 OBP and has scored 28 runs. |
