Free-for-All Costs Valentine and Kelley 3-Game Suspensions Friday, July 11th , 2025 Baseball officials have notified the Giants and Scorpions organizations that one of their players has been suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive behavior" in yesterday's Detroit-Syracuse contest at Ballpark of Detroit. Glenn Valentine of the Giants and Mike Kelley of the Scorpions will have to sit out 3 games for their roles in the free-for-all brawl. In 91 games this season, Valentine has compiled a .248 batting average with 78 hits and 3 home runs. He has also scored 38 times and knocked in 30 runs. Currently Kelley has 25 relief appearances, saving 0. His record is 4-0 with 48 strikeouts in 43.2 innings and a 4.12 ERA. |
