Jalbert Wins NC Prize, Named Best Hitter in July Tuesday, August 1st , 2023 When Aaron Jalbert stepped up to the plate in July he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the National Conference Batter of the Month award. The young Cincinnati first baseman posted a .458 batting average with 9 home runs, 28 RBIs and scored 22 runs. Jalbert also worked pitchers for 13 walks to post a .532 on-base percentage. This year, Jalbert is hitting .336 with 142 hits, 23 home runs, 78 RBIs and has scored 77 runs. |
