Giants Move on to Divisional Series Monday, October 4th , 2021 The Detroit Giants were paced by a strong offensive output from Keith Brosch as they downed the Austin Desperados 2-1 to win the Wildcard Game. Detroit won the final game by a score of 2-1 at Ballpark of Detroit to send themselves off to the Divisional Series. "I wasn't so much focused on putting up big offensive numbers as I was about ensuring we won the games. So it's mission accomplished there," said left fielder Brosch, who was named MVP. For the series, the MVP hit .333 with a .333 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Detroit Giants will play against the Halifax Heathens in the next round.
