Charleston Ships Burchett to Oakland Friday, July 28th , 2023 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Shiners announced today the acquisition of a 6th round draft pick and a 8th round draft pick from the Oakland Invaders in exchange for 24-year old minor league LF Ryan Burchett and 27-year old minor league RHP Mark Crocker. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Shiners, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." |
