Shiners Gilfillan Injured Sunday, September 15th , 2019 Whether he wants it or not, Matt Gilfillan of the Charleston Shiners will be getting some R & R -- rest and relaxation. The center fielder was hurt in today's Shiners-Stars game while running the bases. Team officials announced after the game that Gilfillan had suffered a fractured finger and would be out of action for 5-6 weeks. This season Gilfillan is batting at a .244 clip with 40 home runs and 87 RBIs. |
