NC Trophy Goes to Geeslin of Sandusky Monday, September 9th , 2019 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Bill Geeslin, the Sandusky Seagulls 24-year-old second baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for National Conference Player of the Week honors. He ripped 13 hits in 27 at-bats, compiling a .481 average with 5 home runs and 8 RBIs. This season Geeslin is batting .282 with 27 home runs. He has scored 76 runs and driven in 81. |
