Maroons Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, September 18th , 2021 The Montreal Maroons have a new opponent: mathematics. The Maroons still have games to play in their disappointing 2021 campaign, but the numbers say they won't mean much -- the Maroons were today mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. The Maroons have missed the playoffs 10 times in their 11 years as a American Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2017. |
