Desperados Campos Suffers Injury Friday, September 17th , 2021 Austin Desperados starting pitcher Sam Campos suffered an oblique strain during a recent game with the New York Nightmare and will miss 5 weeks. Campos told BNN, "I hurt it throwing a pitch. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." For this year, Campos has chalked up 18 wins and 10 losses in 31 starts with 189 strikeouts in 237.2 innings and a 2.27 ERA. |
