Santa Fe's Sato Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, September 13th , 2021 The Player of the Week has been announced by the American Conference. The award went to Hiromichi Sato, left fielder of the Santa Fe Chiefs. He dominated league pitchers with a .478 average to win the honor. Sato went 11-for-23 for the week, totaled 2 home runs with 8 RBIs and scored 5 times. This year, Sato has hit at a .252 clip with 83 hits, 6 home runs, 37 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
