Royals Shut Out Captains, Ferrell Winner Sunday, September 12th , 2021 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Tampa Bay Captains as starter Mickey Ferrell shut them out, 5-0, at The Castle. The Cincinnati pitcher struck out 6 and walked 2 while allowing 4 hits. "Ferrell was good but he wasn't flawless," Tampa Bay manager Humberto Lopez said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Cincinnati, but this is on us."
