Heathens Crowned Kings of the American Conference South Division Saturday, September 11th , 2021 A season's worth of hard work has culminated in a division championship for the Halifax Heathens. The club officially clinched its spot atop the American Conference South Division today, with plenty of games to spare. "It feels good to get it wrapped up early and now be able to set ourselves up for the playoffs," said shortstop Leo Orozco. The club currently has a 96-49 record and this is their 5th division championship. "We want to bring the 2nd World Series to Halifax," said David Morris. "We think we've got what it takes to be the best in American Baseball Association." |
