Bobby Campbell Offers Wise Advice to Chris Beasley Thursday, September 9th , 2021 Bobby Campbell may want to look into a career as a life coach after his baseball managing career. The Oakland Invaders manager said he recently helped one of his players through a tough time. "Chris Beasley had broken up with his girlfriend and was pretty distraught over it - I just talked to him about it, just was there to talk to," he said. "I think he appreciated having someone to listen and sort through the problems." Beasley said his manager's advice was definitely appreciated. "The guys know he's there for us whether it's baseball related or life related," he said. "That's a valuable thing to have in a manager." |
