AC #1 Pitcher in August is Phoenix's Ayala Sunday, September 1st , 2019 The American Conference made it official today -- Felipe Ayala of the Phoenix Gladiators is the Pitcher of the Month. In August he impressed the sportswriters with his domination of league hitters. Ayala made 6 starts, registered 5 wins and no losses with a solid 3.19 ERA. In 36.2 innings he allowed 29 hits, racked up 53 strikeouts, walked 4 and permitted teams to hit .216 against him. For this year Ayala has chalked up 15 wins and 5 losses in 28 starts with 232 strikeouts in 180.2 innings and a 2.59 ERA. |
