San Diego, Daytona Beach Confirm Deal Monday, June 17th , 2024 Trade winds have been blowing through San Diego. This time, a deal has materialized between the Fleet and Sea Turtles. According to sources inside the organization, San Diego will ship 26-year old 2B Mike Jardel and $100,000 in cash to Daytona Beach for 26-year old RHP Jeff Adams. During his career, Jardel has compiled a .234 batting average and collected 136 hits, 13 home runs and 65 RBIs. To date this season, Adams has registered 15 starts, 4-5 won-lost mark, 4.37 ERA, 78.1 IP, 67 strikeouts and 25 walks. Opposing teams have hit .300 against him. |
