Little Caps Great Week Monday, June 29th , 2026 Hollywood fans have something to crow about today as Hollywood third baseman Matthew Little nabbed the National Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Little. He posted a .467 average (7-for-15) this past week with 5 home runs, 10 RBIs, and 5 runs scored. This year, Little has batted at a .262 pace with 59 hits, 21 home runs, 45 RBIs and scored 40 times. |
