Indianapolis Starting Pitcher Hurt Tuesday, June 23rd , 2026 Jerry Bowman of the Indianapolis Eagles was injured in today's game against Boston and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn back muscle, and he is expected to be out for up to 5-6 months. It happened while Bowman was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Currently Bowman has a record of 3-1 with 32 strikeouts and 3 walks in 26.1 innings and a 3.42 ERA. |
