Gladiators Platzer Named AC's #1 Player Monday, June 22nd , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for John Platzer of the Phoenix Gladiators. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .435, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American Conference. Last week Platzer went 10-for-23, racked up 3 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Phoenix shortstop. So far this season, Platzer has hit .302 with 20 home runs, 57 RBIs and scored 52 times. |
