Bad News for Austin, Campos Injured Thursday, June 18th , 2026 Sam Campos of the Austin Desperados was injured in today's game against New York and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is shoulder inflammation, and he is expected to be out for up to 2-3 weeks. It happened while Campos was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Over the season Campos has thrown 66 innings and dished out 79 strikeouts with a 4-3 mark and a 4.09 ERA. |
