Fountain Hills, Charleston Execute Trade Sunday, June 14th , 2026 It's all done except the paperwork. The Fountain Hills 23ers and the Charleston Sea Dogs have agreed to a trade that will send 24-year old 1B Jason Perrigin, 23-year old SS Jeff Yule, 26-year old LF Corey Pope, a 2nd round draft pick, a 3rd round draft pick, and a 4th round draft pick to Charleston, while 25-year old minor league SS Dan Canady, 23-year old minor league LF Ryan Willin, 18-year old minor league RHP Javier Palos, 21-year old minor league RHP Shalom Bruin, 23-year old minor league LHP Jaheim Johnson, a 1st round draft pick, a 2nd round draft pick, a 3rd round draft pick, and a 4th round draft pick will be shipped to Fountain Hills. A top front office executive with the 23ers described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. Yule is batting .270 this season in 62 games with 17 home runs, 55 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has 63 hits in 233 at-bats. |
