Boston's Kirkham Injured, Out of Lineup Saturday, June 13th , 2026 Willie Kirkham is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Boston organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 9 months with a broken kneecap. The 26-year-old right fielder suffered the injury running the bases in a recent game against the Toronto Trash Pandas. So far this season, Kirkham is hitting .304 with 12 home runs. |
