Chicago 3B Will Miss 3 Games, Suspended by League Wednesday, July 27th , 2022 Gary Draeger didn't like the strike call, turned around and had some angry words with the home plate umpire. Apparently he went too far. The result is a 3-game suspension by the league office. The league cited his failure to leave the dugout after the ejection was the reason for the suspension. The Chicago third baseman was ejected in a game at The Hideout against the San Francisco Fire following a controversial third-strike call. Draeger is hitting .223 this season with 7 home runs, 22 RBIs and 47 runs scored. He has 75 hits in 336 at-bats. |
