McKinstry, Hennick Suspended for Fracas Thursday, May 28th , 2026 Steve McKinstry of the Oakland Invaders and Brian Hennick of the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 2 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Invaders-Sea Turtles game at Howard Terminal. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN McKinstry and Hennick will begin serving them soon. This season, McKinstry is hitting .251 with 13 home runs. Looking at his season stats, Hennick has won 0 and lost 2, collecting 21 strikeouts and 3 walks in 20.1 innings with a 3.54 ERA. |
