Rehab Setback for T.J. Donovan Monday, July 4th , 2022 Pines third baseman T.J. Donovan has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation for a fractured foot. He was expected to finish treatment soon and rejoin the team slightly ahead of schedule. Doctors reevaluated him after he felt severe pain in a recent workout. The preliminary examination revealed more damage and is worse than the first injury. Anonymous sources in Maine told BNN T.J. Donovan would be absent from the roster quite a bit longer than originally diagnosed. He would now have to miss at least 5 weeks. T.J. Donovan is expected to undergo surgery in Portland(Maine) tomorrow. This season, Donovan is batting .247 with 8 home runs. |
