NC Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, May 6th , 2024 When it came to hitting the baseball, Jordan Thompson was in a class by himself in the National Conference this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding right fielder for Daytona Beach tagged opposing pitchers for a .414 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 12 hits in 29 at-bats, 4 homers, 8 runs scored and 9 RBIs. So far this season, Thompson is batting .291 with 9 home runs. |
