Rice Wins Rookie of the Month Friday, July 1st , 2022 Vince Rice is living a dream. Not only did he net the National Conference's Rookie of the Month Award today, but the 25-year-old has put together a string of starts that has everybody talking all the league. In the month of June the Indianapolis starter was 2-1 as he put up a 1.04 ERA. He also totaled 21 strikeouts in 17.1 innings, while holding opponents to a .164 average. Pretty good stats for a rookie. Looking at his season stats to date, Rice has 15 saves in 28 relief appearances with a 4-2 record and 0.74 ERA. |
