Sykora Cops AC Batter of the Month Honors Friday, July 1st , 2022 At only 22 years of age, Jim Sykora could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Austin Desperados, as June was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the American Conference Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .308 with 11 home runs, 27 RBIs and 25 runs scored. Sykora is batting .233 this year with 22 home runs, 59 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has 67 hits in 287 at-bats. |
