Clare, Natera Swap Teams Tuesday, June 28th , 2022 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Sea Turtles announced today the acquisition of 24-year old 2B Alex Natera from the San Francisco Fire in exchange for 23-year old 3B Gabe Garza and 19-year old minor league 2B Jason Clare. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Sea Turtles, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." This year, Natera is hitting .375 with 4 home runs and 15 RBIs in 27 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .402 with 4 walks and 12 runs scored. |
