Philadelphia's Mendez Sidelined for Season Monday, August 26th , 2019 A blow for Michael Mendez today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 2 months with a torn quad. Mendez suffered the injury running the bases. Although officials from the Philadelphia Marauders are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Mendez's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This season Mendez is batting .221 with 16 home runs. His totals include 45 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
