But team officials were unconcerned when approached by reporters about the news. An anonymous team official said, "Look, this type of thing is a transactional issue. Sometimes a player like Bert is put on waivers this time of year, it's nothing personal and it is nothing final. We are just moving pieces around at this point." While that may be true, Bert Lora likely feels a little less loyal to the Detroit Giants than he felt yesterday. |
