Weatherholt Receives August Rookie Award Wednesday, September 1st , 2021 August was quite remarkable for Andy Weatherholt of the Charleston Shiners. This first-year hurler fashioned some spectacular statistics and was acclaimed the Rookie of the Month in the National Conference. Weatherholt pitched 36 innings, fanned 28 and posted a 0.75 ERA.
