Jim Anderson Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Friday, June 30th , 2023 The season is finished for Jim Anderson of the Indianapolis Eagles. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Eagles left fielder suffered a ruptured medial collateral ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the Carolina Reapers. Team doctors said it would take at least 7 months to heal. This season, Anderson is batting .285 with 91 hits, 20 home runs, 49 RBIs, 33 walks, .354 OBP and has scored 61 runs. He has played in 82 games. |
