DTD Injury Puts Forsythe Out of Lineup Thursday, June 29th , 2023 Giants third baseman Ryan Forsythe was injured while colliding with a player at a base against the New York Nightmare. The injury was diagnosed as a sprained thumb. The Detroit standout is not expected to miss too much action and will be listed as day-to-day. He could be out about 4 weeks. Forsythe is hitting .288 so far this season with 53 RBIs and 47 runs scored. He has 77 hits including 12 home runs, 50 walks and .396 OBP. |
