Swap: for Smith Tuesday, June 27th , 2023 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Heathens announced today the acquisition of 25-year old C Malachi Smith from the Carolina Reapers in exchange for a 4th round draft pick. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Heathens, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." For the season, Smith is hitting .220, batted in 17 runs with 2 home runs and 16 runs scored. |
